Aaron Yorke grew up rooting for the Mets in central New Jersey surrounded by Yankees fans. Despite, or perhaps because of all the teasing he endured during the tough years of the mid Nineties, Aaron’s love for New York’s National League franchise has grown over the years. Perhaps his most trying moment as a fan (as I’m sure it was for many of you) was the last day of the 2007 regular season when he had to watch all of State College’s Phillies fans celebrate a playoff birth on one of the darkest days in Mets history.
On the brigher side of things, Aaron’s favorite Mets memory is Robin Ventura’s grand slam single in the 1999 NLCS. His most memorable game attended was on June 11, 2005, when the Mets came from behind to beat the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim thanks to Marlon Anderson’s bottom of the ninth inside the park home run and Cliff Floyd’s game winning blast the very next inning after the Angels had regained the lead in the top of the 10th.
Aaron’s favorite manager is Bobby Valentine and his favorite player is David Wright. His other favorite sports teams are the New York Giants, Rangers, and Knicks, as well as his alma mater, the Penn State Nittany Lions.

After another disastrous season, I decided to join many other Mets fans and “campaign” for the return of your favorite manager and mine, Bobby V. I created a logo for the campaign and thought you might be interested in seeing the merch. Enjoy!
